VOODOO CHEF


The VooDoo Chef Erik Youngs will showcase his award-winning gourmet seasonings and sauces from his VoodDoo line during the event and present full cooking demonstrations in the afternoons. The VooDoo Chef has been infusing his brand of sauces and seasonings across the country, leaving all who “Taste the Magic” no other choice but to “Worship the Flavor!”

Demonstrations will take place on Thursday, Nov. 29 and Friday Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. both days. The VooDoo Chef will provide tastings throughout those days.

ABOUT THE VOODOO CHEF

The VooDoo Chef has more than 30 years experience in the Food Service Industry and has been a lauded culinary educator for the past two decades. He was the driving force behind the nationally recognized, award-winning Culinary Operations Academy at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. Under his direction, the academy became the only Model High School Culinary Academy in the nation. The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation awarded him with the prestigious James T. Maynard Excellence in Education Award, which is presented to the top culinary educators in the nation. In addition, he operates a consulting business, advising restaurants on recipe creation and standar-dization, staff training and development, and menu development. As a National Food Safety Mana-gement (ServSafe) instructor and proctor, he also works with companies to train and certify staff and develop Food Safety plans and systems.
