ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (January 28, 2025) – The largest and longest running boat show on Florida’s west coast, the 47th Annual St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show took place from January 16-19, 2025 at the City’s downtown waterfront. Boating enthusiasts viewed nearly 100 more boats than previous years as the number of exhibitors increased; the largest number yet on display both on land and in the water. A number of sold signs appeared by the final date of the show, restoring life on the water for many people who lost vessels during Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales generated $2,885 in donations for Feeding Tampa Bay, to help provide relief to Tampa Bay residents still reeling from the devastation of the hurricanes. “Donations help people in the Tampa Bay community build resilience and recover from hardships as Feeding Tampa Bay works immediately in the areas hit hardest, providing essential resources and pathways back to stability in the months following the storm,” said Jenny Gonzalez Bohnert, Director of Development for Feeding Tampa Bay.
