ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (November 1, 2024) – The Annual St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, Presented by Progressive, returns January 16–19, 2025. This year, after massive boat losses along the storm-tossed coast, residents and visitors welcome the most comprehensive display of vessels to St. Petersburg’s downtown waterfront.
For more than 45 years, Informa Markets U.S. Boat Shows has produced this impressive showcase, featuring everything from fishing boats to luxury yachts to marine gear and more. The show attracts boating enthusiasts from all over the state of Florida as well as seasonal visitors to the popular St. Petersburg destination.
The 2025 St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, Presented by Progressive will take place at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park, located at 400 1st Street S. St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
Tickets must be purchased online via the website at www.stpeteboatshow.com as there will not be a ticketing box office at the show. General Admission is $22 for adults, and children ages 15 and under receive free entry. Veterans and active-duty military also receive free entry with proof of service. Show hours are 10am to 6pm on Thursday, January 16 through Saturday, January 18 and 10am to 4pm on Sunday, January 19.
To help provide relief to those still struggling after the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, proceeds from boat show ticket sales will benefit Feeding Tampa Bay. In partnership with the Tampa Bay Emergency Operations Centers, the organization works directly with local emergency management operations to provide food, water, and hygiene items to the St. Petersburg area.
Attendees can look forward to show experiences such as Daily Seminars on various topics and Hook the Future with Captain Don Dingman – a free fishing clinic for kids that will take place at 12pm and 2pm on Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19. This is open to kids of all ages, and their parents too! Plus, the kids in attendance will receive a free rod and reel for their participation. Captain Don has hosted these clinics at major boat shows and events across the Southeast for so many years, teaching thousands of families how to succeed in fishing while spending quality time outdoors with the people you love.
Additionally, all attendees will have the opportunity to explore the 300 exhibits and connect with boating experts to learn about the latest features and innovations in the marine industry.
