DONATE TO TAMPA BAY WATCH ON TICKET SITE FOR ST. PETERSBURG POWER & SAILBOAT SHOW, PRESENTED BY PROGRESSIVE

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (January 6, 2026) – The St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show, Presented by Progressive, proudly supports Tampa Bay Watch, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring and preserving the Tampa Bay watershed. Through community-driven projects like living shorelines, oyster reef ball installations, and marine education programs, Tampa Bay Watch is making a lasting impact on our local ecosystem.

On the ticketing platform for this year’s boat show, happening on St. Pete’s downtown waterfront January 15-18, 2026, a donation may be made to the local charity partner, Tampa Bay Watch. Proceeds help fund the organization’s vital initiatives, including hands-on restoration projects, marine science field trips, and programs that educate people about how they can protect and restore Tampa Bay for generations to come.

Not far from the boat show site, Tampa Bay Watch has a Discovery Center on The St. Pete Pier downtown. Boat show ticket holders may show their tickets for free admission to The Discovery Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, January 15 through Sunday, January 18.

On Saturday and Sunday, families are encouraged to time their visit to the boat show to take in The Discovery Center and a popular seminar at the boat show called “Hook the Future” presented by Captain Don Dingman. This free fishing clinic for families takes place at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18, for children ages 4-16. All children in attendance receive a complimentary fishing pole. Captain Don has hosted kids fishing clinics at major boat shows and events across the Southeast, teaching thousands of families how to succeed in fishing while spending quality time outdoors with people you love.
